Ho Chi Minh City Police answer inquires of local people and businesses

PSNews – The Ho Chi Minh City Municipal Police Department on July 11 held a reception between functional units under the Department with local people and businesses to answer inquiries regarding the administrative procedures.

According to Colonel Le Manh Ha, Deputy Head of the Staff Work Division under the Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) Police Department, in the first 6 months of 2019, the Department received and handled many opinions and petitions handed by local people and organizations on administrative regulations and citizens’ right to supervise  the execution of administrative procedures of local police agencies and units with the State management function.

At the meeting, the competent agencies under the Ho Chi Minh City Municipal Police Department received 8 inquiries and answered 7 of them. All inquiries were about the responsible police units’ delay in completing administrative procedures for people. But, all the delays were then clarified due to objective factors.

According to Major Tran Duc Tai, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh Municipal Police Department, the Department currently provides 151online public services at various levels, creating favorable conditions for people to complete administrative procedures.

The meeting held by the Ho Chi Minh City Municipal Police Department on July 11 was an open and direct dialogue between competent police agencies of the city and local people and businesses, helping Ho Chi Minh City Police understand more about the situation and local businesses and people’s needs and therefore successfully fulfill their assigned tasks.
