Hospital 199 opens immunization service center

The establishment of the Immunization Service Center of Hospital 199 under the Ministry of Public Security has aims to provide safe and effective vaccination services for the police officers and soldiers working in Da Nang City and in the Central Highlands as well as their relatives and civilian people.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son affirmed the importance and significance of the Immunization Service Center in disease prevention and health improvement for police officers and soldiers and people in the central region.

According to Senior Colonel Quach Huu Trung, Director of Hospital 199, over the past time, the hospital has injected nearly 3,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccines to police officers in Da Nang City.

Currently, the immunization center of the hospital provides about 30 types of vaccine for all ages. All of the vaccines are all recommended by the World Health Organization.
