Hung Yen Police issue ID cards to people at their home

PSNews –The Yen My District Police Station, Hung Yen Province has stepped up administrative reform procedures, in order to improve working efficiency and better serve the people, over the past time.

With the spirit of providing the best service for local people, the district police invested in vehicles to go to communes to issue ID cards to local people at their places.

The leadership of the District Police Station also assigned the Administrative Management Police Section on Social Order in cooperation with local authorities to implement a pilot project to conduct ID card issuance in several communes for local people, particularly policy beneficiary families, the elderly, the disabled and needy people.

Before the day of issuing ID cards, the district police force coordinated with the local authorities to make a list of citizens without valid ID cards, and told people to prepare necessary documents. After completing the procedures for ID card granting in their places, the citizens will receive their ID cards by post or from the commune police posts.

Facts from issuing ID cards to citizens in several communes show that the ID cards issuance at citizens’ places saved their time and money while promoting the local police’s administrative reforms.

Since September 2018, the Yen My District Police have sent mobile ID card issuance teams to 4 communes, and granted over 1,000 ID cards to people.

Major Nguyen Van Nghia, Head of the Administrative Management Police Section on Social Order of the Yen My District Police Station said: “Over the past time, the mobile ID cards issuance project has received great support from people, and it has benefited a large number of local people. Currently, we are reviewing the results of the project to advise the leadership of the district police to expand the scope of the project to all communes in the district."

This meaningful activity of the Yen My District Police has contributed to building the image of exemplary police officers to serve the people.
