In-depth training course launched for 60 traffic police officers

PSNews – The People’s Police Academy (PPA) on October 7 organized a training course on conducting patrols, checks and handling traffic violations on routes based on international experience for traffic police officers from 12 provinces and cities. 

The opening ceremony saw the presence of Major General Nguyen Dac Hoan, Deputy Director of the PPA, representatives of the Academy, and 60 trainees who are traffic police officers from the 12 provinces and cities.

Speaking at the event, Major General Nguyen Dac Hoan said that, over the past time, the PPA in collaboration with the Global Road Safety Association has organized many training courses based on international experience in patrolling on traffic routes, checking vehicles and handling traffic violations for traffic police officers nationwide.

This training course runs from October 7 to12 at the PPA, with the aim of improving traffic police officers’ professional skills at patrolling on traffic routes, checking vehicles and handling  traffic violations.

The training course covers various topics, including handling violations of alcohol limit, speed limit and seat belt regulations; building plans for patrols and checks on traffic routes; handling situations arising during patrolling; and skills at using specialized motorbikes to conduct traffic patrols and checks.
