Key chains with police numbers on them bring about public order and security in Phu Ly

PSNews – Recently, the Thanh Tuyen Ward Police Post in Phu Ly City, Ha Nam Province has offered citizen key-chains with phone numbers of the local authority and police.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Truong Quang Ha, Head of the Thanh Tuyen Ward Police Post, although all local police officers have already participated in preventing the COVID-19 pandemic, they still have grasped the local security situation and quickly handled all security issues thanks to the information provided by local people to the police via the hotline numbers on their key chains.

Mr. Tran Van Dang, a resident of Thanh Tuyen ward, Phu Ly City, Ha Nam Province said that, in the past, people had to go to the local police station to report on law violations, so they had to spend much time and energy. It was even harder for people to go to the police when the weather was bad.

Now, with the key chains with the police numbers on them, people can call the police to get their help or report on law violations.

Ward Thanh Tuyen in Phu Ly City has 8 residential groups, including 2,510 households with nearly 9,000 permanent residents. So far, the ward police have handed over 1,000 key chains with phone numbers of leaders of the local People's Committee and police post printed on them.

Since July 2020, locals have provided police with over 60 pieces of information, including 12 crime reports, helping the police discover and investigate 4 drug-related cases, 5 gambling cases and other security and order related cases in the locality.
