Correctional police officers provide vocational guidance for prisoners.

Based on the criteria, three inmates at the Khanh Hoa Detention Center have been eligible for amnesty. After the President’s decisions on amnesty and the Central Advisory Council on Amnesty’s guiding documents, the Khanh Hoa Detention Center actively prepared for amnesty work, carefully considering and making for the list of eligible inmates, ensuring that the amnesty policy benefits the rightful inmate in line with the laws.

In addition, officers at the provincial detention center also carefully explained the amnesty policy and criteria for amnesty to all inmates, so that they could understand the State’s clemency policies and apply for amnesty if they had seen themselves as eligible.

Additionally, correctional police officers also launched legal counselling and vocational guidance programs for the early-released inmates, helping them obtain sufficient knowledge to sustainably reintegrate into the society.

In early October, the Khanh Hoa Detention Center will hold a ceremony to announce the President’s decisions on amnesty for eligible prisoners in compliance with the laws and regulations.
