Lam Dong police support computers to poor students

The Directorate of the Lam Dong Provincial Police Department has directed all sub-units to coordinate with local authorities to support people facing difficulties due to the COVID-19 pandemic, especially ethnic minority students.

In Ta Nang commune, Duc Trong district, 286 poor students had no electronic devices connected to the Internet to participate in online classes.

The Internal Security Office under the Lam Dong provincial Police Department in coordination with the Duc Trong district Police Station on December 7 presented 15 sets of computers to K’Long Bong primary school. The police officers also instructed the students how to use the computers for online learning.

Lieutenant Colonel Le Xuan Bich, Vice Head of the Internal Security Office, said the unit also mobilized donors to present 100 gifts to poor local people.

Earlier on November 14, the unit coordinated with the police of Lac Duong district and donors to hand 150 packages of gifts to ethnic minority people in Da Sar, Da Nhim and Da Chais communes.
