In the first 6 months of 2023, the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Police Department actively drew up general plans and directed local police subunits to grasp the order and security situation, prevent and effectively fight crimes, contributing to the socio-economic development of the province.
Regarding logistic work, the Provincial Police Department is currently building three district-level police offices in Con Dao district, Dat Do district and Ba Ria city.
Regarding the construction of detention facilities at the Provincial Police Department and the headquarters for the commune police force.
Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province Dang Minh Thong said that the provincial leadership took due care of the police forces in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.
The local authorities was about to submit proposals on land allocation for the local police forces to the Prime Minister.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen emphasized that the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Police Department should actively give advice, closely follow instructions of the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security and seriously implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress regarding building the Public Security Forces and ensuring order and security.
As for logistic and financal work, the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Police Department needs to accelerate public investment disbursement, review and rearrange all housing facilities in the province for local police subunits, and to report difficulties and obstacles to the leadership of the Ministry.
