Local police support people to overcome consequences of Storm No.2

PSNews – Heavy rains and strong winds due to the atmospheric circulation of Storm No.2 have damaged hundreds of houses in Kien Giang and Hau Giang Provinces and Can Tho City. The police forces in storm-affected localities have made great efforts to support people to overcome consequences of the natural disasters.

In Hau Giang, heavy rains and thunderstorms have destroyed 38 houses and unroofed 156. The total loss amounted to nearly 2.5 billion VND. Phung Hiep District is the most affected area with 59 houses unroofed, 12 collapsed while crops areas were seriously damaged.
