Local police support students at National High School Examination

PSNews – Over the last few days, the Police Department of some localities across Vietnam has mobilized maximum forces to support students participating in the National High School Examination 2021. 

* In Nghe An:

100% police officers and soldiers of the traffic police force and social order police force in 21 districts and city of Nghe An Province have been mobilized to guide the traffic and ensure security and order at the exam venues.

The local traffic police force also carried out other activities in support of students, including offering free drinks and facemasks. The Youth Union chapter, the Women Union chapter and the Trade Union chapter of local police units also provided supports for examinees.

Leaders of the Nghe An Provincial Police Department came to the exam venues to inspect the operation of the local police force.

Although the weather in some areas was not favorable, the work of ensuring security and order and preventing COVID-19 was implemented effectively.

This year, Nghe An has over 34,000 students taking the national high school examination at 68 exam venues. 

The examination took place in a context of complicated COVID-19 development, so with their effective supports, the Nghe An provincial police contributed importantly to the success of  the organization of the exam in the province.

* In Hanoi:

On July 7, more than 100,000 candidates in Hanoi went to areas for the 2021 national high school graduation exams. In the early morning, police of wards, communes, districts in the capital deployed forces to streets to ensure traffic safety, helping parents and students get to schools quickly and safely.

During the exams, police forces guard exams areas.

The Hanoi Municipal Police Department asked all officers and soldiers to follow the disease prevention regulations during performing their duties, and ready to help candidates and their families in need.

*In Ho Chi Minh (HCM) City:

The Road and Railway Traffic Police Division under the HCM Municipal Police Department deployed a good number of officers to ensure traffic safety and handle traffic incidents during the exam period. All officers strictly complied with regulations on COVID-19 control by wearing masks.

In case of traffic incidents related to examinees, the police officers would release them 60 minutes ahead of the high school examination. Particularly for the traffic incidents that happen to candidates, police officers seek to support them to get to the exam site on time.
