At the meeting, Major Dao Dung Sy Ha, Head of the Tan Chanh Hiep Ward Police Post briefed the delegation on the local security and order situation.
According to the local police officer, in recent time, many projects have been under construction in locality, but thanked to the leadership of the local Party Committee and People’s Committee, along with the effective management of the local ward police, there have been no complaints attracting many people affecting local security and order.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To asked the Ho Chi Minh Municipal Police Department, the District 12 Police Station and the Tan Chanh Hiep Ward Police Post to be consistent in both thought and action to build Tan Chanh Hiep Ward as a typical model of security and order and urban civilization.
As the Ho Chi Minh Police Department has chosen the Tan Chanh Hiep Ward Police Post to build Tan Chanh Hiep Ward as a typical model urban area in terms of public order, security and urban civilization, the Ho Chi Minh police leaders should create favorable conditions for and invest in the ward police to achieve this goal.
The Deputy Minister also requested the Ho Chi Minh police to review the implementation of the project after a year in order to draw lessons from the practices.
The District 12 Police Station has been assigned to draft specific criteria for the building of a role model of urban areas in terms of public order, security and civilization, based on which higher-level authorities will allocate human and material resources to local-level police forces to implement the project.
