"Magical eyes" contributes to prevent crimes in Dak Sac

PSNews - The security camera system has supported local police effectively in quickly discovering, handling crime cases as well as preventing crimes and social evils in Dak Sac commune, Dak Mil district, Dak Nong province.

Captain Phan Van Thang, Head of the Dak Sac Commune Police said, Dak Sac covers a large area with many inter-communal roads. The security and order situation of the areas in the previous years was very complicated.

Against this backdrop, the commune police advised the local Party Committee and authority to developed a security camera project , which was strongly supported and funded by local people. Under the project, 11 cameras with a total value of 50 million VND were installed at marketplaces and Duong Moi intersection.

Along with the lighting system on the roads, the security system has brought about positive outcomes in preventing crimes, ensuring security and order in the locality as well as helped promptly resolve problems arising in residential areas.

Thanks to the security cameras, the local police could quickly detect and stop many criminal activities and social evils as well as arrested offenders. Particularly, the "magic eyes" helped the local police seized a drug trafficking case and a robbery case, as well as handle traffic accidents and timely prevent social disturbances and other illegal acts.

But the biggest gain from the “magic eyes” is that the local police force has received strong support and active participation of the local people in preventing and fighting crimes, and maintaining security and order in every corner of the locality.
