Minister Luong Tam Quang presents Tet gifts to poor households and workers in Hung Yen province

A central delegation led by Member of the Politburo and Minister of Public Security General Luong Tam Quang visited and presented Tet gifts to residents, officials and workers, in Hung Yen province on February 8, 2026.

The delegation was joined by Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour Nguyen Dinh Khang.

In response to the policy of “Every household can enjoys Tet” and the movement “For the poor – Leaving no one behind” launched by the Prime Minister, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Central “For the Poor” Fund provided 300 gift packages to poor households, near-poor households and disadvantaged families in Hung Yen province.

In addition, Minister Luong Tam Quang also sent 300 gift packages, to disadvantaged local households, helping them celebrate a warm Tet.

Speaking at the program, on behalf of the Party and State leadership, Minister Luong Tam Quang extended his best regards to the people of Hung Yen province, wishing them a joyful, warm and happy Lunar New Year 2026.

The Minister affirmed that the Party and State of Vietnam consistently attaches great importance to caring for people’s livelihoods, especially policy beneficiary families, the poor and those in difficult circumstances, so that every citizen can fully enjoy Tet.

Minister Luong Tam Quang urged all the Party committees, authorities and the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hung Yen province to continue effectively implementing social security policies, further promote the tradition of great national unity, and effectively execute the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction, thereby further improving the material and spiritual lives of the people.

* On the same day, Minister Luong Tam Quang and the delegation also visited and presented Tet gifts to outstanding workers at Hung Yen Garment Corporation JSC, Hung Yen Plastic JSC, Hung Long II Garment JSC and Thien Son Hung Yen Company Ltd.

At these enterprises, the Minister warmly encouraged workers, wishing them and their families good health, stable lives and steadily rising incomes in the New Year.
