Minister To Lam attends Great National Unity festival in Hanoi

PSNews – General To Lam, Politburo’s member, Minister of Public Security on November 8 attended a grassroots-level Great National Unity Festival in celebration of the 90th Traditional Day of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in Residential Group No.6, Quan Thanh Ward, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi.

Present at the Great National Unity Festival in Residential Group No.6 of Quan Thanh Ward were also Mr. Vuong Dinh Hue, Politburo’s member, Secretary of the Hanoi Municipal Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Hoa Binh, member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court; Mr. Tran Thanh Man, President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee (VFFCC).

Speaking at the festival, Mr. Tran Thanh Man stressed that, over the past 5 years, under the leadership of the Hanoi City Party Committee and authority, the local people has promoted the traditions of solidarity, unity, initiative, creativity, bravery, and determination to overcome all difficulties in city development. The capital's economy continues to grow and has reached a fair level in the 2015-2020 period, he added.

Group No.6’s residents at the festival all showed their support and consensus with the Party's guidelines and policies and the laws of the State.

Local people also actively responded to patriotic emulation movements, and participated in the campaign “All people unite to build new-style rural and civilized urban areas” while practicing the code of conduct in public places.

At the festival, Minister of Public Security To Lam and President of VFFCC Tran Thanh Man presented 15 packs of gifts to outstanding households in the group.

Hanoi Party Committee Secretary Vuong Dinh Hue and Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court Nguyen Hoa Binh presented 10 packs of gifts to exemplary elderly people.
