Minister To Lam attends Great National Unity festival in Hung Yen

At the festival, the delegates and Dinh Du people have recalled the glorious history of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

In the joyful festive atmosphere of the Great National Unity festival, Minister To Lam sincerely extended best regards to local people.

On behalf of the Central Party Committee of the Public Security Forces, the Ministry of Public Security, Minister To Lam warmly praised the achievements and results in the national development and defense cause of Dinh Du resident over the past years.

All people in the residential area have followed strictly the policies and guidelines of the Party, observed the law of the State, local conventions, promoted positive emulation in production, and supported each other in doing business and developing production, bringing prosperity to their families and homeland.

Besides, Dinh Du has built on a good cultural lifestyle and actively participated in the campaigns, the patriotic emulation movements that the Fatherland Front, Party committees, governments, and socio-political organizations had launched.

Local people also took part in gratitude, charitable and humanitarian activities, supporting revolution contributors, taking care of the elderly, extending education promotion, and protecting the environment.

92% of the households in the locality have been recognized as Cultural Family; 8 families have been awarded the title "Exemplary grandparents and parents, faithful children and dutiful grandchildren" at the provincial level, 9 families and 10 others have received the title from the district level and the commune,respectively.

Minister To Lam also agreed with the orientations and objected in 2017 mentioned in the report of campaign "Everyone unite to build a new countryside, urban civilization" of the Working Board of Dinh Du resident Fatherland Front.

Minister To Lam also required the Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee to continuously direct the People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front and provincial agencies, and provincial organizations to renew contents and operational methods of the campaigns and the patriotic emulation movements, improve the effectiveness of local economic activities, strive for sustainable poverty reduction, and build on new countryside, urban civilization.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and its local organizations should continue well performing their roles and functions, transferring people’s thoughts and aspirations to the Party and State, coordinate closely with other relevant agencies and organizations in executing their functions of social supervision and criticism to ensure the effectiveness of their operations and meet the local specific requirements.

The Minister also proposed the Working Board of the Dinh Du resident Fatherland Front organization to bring into play the local strengths, encourage people to successfully implement the campaigns, the patriotic emulation movements, and extend the people's masterships, contributing to building a strong political system, and bringing prosperity and happiness to Dinh Du.

At the ceremony, Minister To Lam and Hung Yen provincial leaders awarded the Certificate of Merit and presented gifts to exemplary households and Dinh Du village for their outstanding achievements in the Fatherland Front work.
