Ministry of Public Security hands over canoe to ThuaThien Hue police

PSNews – The Ministry of Public Security (MPS) on October 22 held a ceremony in Hue City to hand over a canoe to the ThuaThien Hue police force to facilitate the local police’s rescue missions. 

The ceremony saw the presence of Mr. Tran Van Tuy, Member of the Central Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly’s Commission for Delegate Work, and Major General Le Quoc Hung, Deputy Minister of Public Security.

At the ceremony to hand over and launch the canoe, Major General Le Quoc Hung assigned the ThuaThien Hue Provincial Police Department to manage, use and maintain the watercraft according to regulations.

The Deputy Minister also asked the ThuaThien Hue police to fulfill their tasks of ensuring safety on waterways, urgently search for missing workers at the Rao Trang 3 hydropower plant, and help local people respond to floods.

Senior Colonel Nguyen Thanh Tuan, Director of the ThuaThien Hue Provincial Police Department, thanked the MPS and the TNG Holdings Vietnam Group for sponsoring the canoe.

He promised to use the vehicle effectively in search, rescue missions and natural disaster relief.

Earlier, the TNG Holdings Vietnam Group offered the Ha Tinh police a canoe in support of their rescue missions.
