MPC honors excellent teams, individuals in 2015-2020 emulation movement

The Mobile Police Command (MPC) on May 25 held a meeting to award teams and individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "For Homeland Security" in the period of 2015-2020.

Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security attended and delivered a keynote speech at the meeting. The event also saw the presence of Major General Le Quoc Hung, Deputy Minister of Public Security.

Over the past five years, the MPC has mobilized nearly 38,000 police officers and soldiers to conduct more than 700,000 patrols, detected and handled a large number of law violations in time while deploying nearly 20,000 officers, soldiers and thousands of vehicles to support other police units and agencies nationwide to investigate 78 large criminal cases.

Mobile police officers and soldiers also protect absolute safety for important scientific and technological projects, key establishments as well as political and diplomatic events of the country.

The MPC has managed,trained, and effectively used animals for their professional tasks. It also participated actively in search and rescue missions, and natural disaster relief.

Over the past five years, many units and individuals of the MPC have been praised for their outstanding achievements by the Party, the State and the people.

At the meeting, 18 teams and 112 individuals were honored and awarded by the MPC for their excellent achievements in the emulation movement in the past five years.

Speaking at the meeting, on behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh recognized and praised the achievements obtained by the MPC’s excellent teams and individuals over the past years.

According the Deputy Minister, the MPS should continue to promote the emulation movement "For Homeland Security" in the period of 2020-2025 with practical contents and creative forms.

The Deputy Minister requested the MPC to create favorable conditions for mass organizations to effectively implement the emulation movement "For Homeland Security" and regularly inspect their implementation of all emulation movements.
