MPS delegation visits relics of former headquarters, presents gifts to revolution contributors in Tuyen Quang

PSNews – A high-ranking delegation of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS)  led by Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Director of Public Security on August 12visited and offered incense and wreaths to President Ho Chi Minh and public security heroic martyrs in the former Headquarters of the Central Public Security Bureau (predecessor of the Ministry of Public Security) in Tuyen Quang province. 

The visit was made by delegates participated in a conference on planning, financial, logistic and technical services of the Public Security Forces held in Tuyen Quang Province, on the occasion of the 74th anniversary of the August Revolution, the National Day, and 74th founding anniversary of the People's Public Security Forces (August 19, 1945-2019).

At the site, the delegation expressed their deep gratitude to the national heroes who had laid down their lives for the cause of national liberation and unification.

The delegation also lit incense at Uncle Ho’s memorial house, paid respect and gratitude to the great contribution of President Ho Chi Minh to the revolutionary cause of the Vietnamese people.

On same day, at the former Headquarters of the Central Public Security Bureau, the delegation of the MPS also presented gifts and handed over gratitude houses to revolution contributors and policy beneficiaries in the locality.

At the meetings on behalf of the Central Party Committee of Public Security, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son inquired after wounded soldiers and families of public security martyrs as well as revolution contributors.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son stressed that, although the gifts were insignificant in value, but they showed the gratitude and empathy of public security officers for the policy beneficiary families and revolution contributors in Tuyen Quang.

On behalf of the policy beneficiary families and revolution contributors in locality, Mr. Bui Anh Dao thanked the delegation for their sentiment.

On this occasion, the MPS also handed over 5 gratitude houses and 100 packs of gifts to policy beneficiary families in a difficult state in Tuyen Quang.
