Regarding recent license plate auctions, a journalist questioned that a number of license plates were given very high bids, so what would the competent agencies do if the bidders did not pay their bid amounts.
Answering the question, Deputy Director of the Traffic Police Department Major General Le Xuan Duc stated that the pilot license plate auction was a success although the bidding system had some problems at first.
Currently, the system worked well later, and from September 15 to September 30, 493 license plates were auctioned with the total bid amount of more than 214 billion VND.
So far, 76 bidders have paid 16.8 billion VND for their bids.
Answering journalists' questions about the tragic fire at a mini apartment building in Thanh Xuan district (Hanoi) killing 56 people, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Municipal Police Department Major General Nguyen Thanh Tung said that the local police are improving their State management of fire prevention and fighting by increasing fire safety inspections and seriously taking action against regulations of fire safety regulations.
He added, immediately after the fire broke out, the authorities prosecuted the case, and detained Nghiem Quang Minh, the owner of the mini apartment building.
Initial results of the investigation of the case showed that Nghiem Quang Minh had not followed the construction plan permitted by the authorities and violated the fire safety regulations.
