MPS honors outstanding female public security officers at grassroots level

The Ministry of Public Security (MPS) on July 16 held an event to show art performances and to honor excellent female public security officers at the grassroots level during the period of 2015 – 2020.

Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, Deputy Minister of Public Security attended and gave keynote remarks.

This event aimed to honor excellent female public security officers at the grassroots level who have obtained great achievements in performing their duties.

At the event, 61 excellent female public security officers were honored by MPS’ leaders. Some of them were also invited to the stage to exchange and share their valuable working experience, efficient models, and good practices in implementing the Ministry of Public Security’s working plans.

“The female public security officers honored in the program today are bright examples of grass-roots women’s emulation movements. They have attained excellent achievements in study, training and fight against crimes,” Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh said.

He suggested that leaders of all public security agencies and units should pay attention to empowering the female officers, and that they should create favorable conditions for their female officers to devote their talent, knowledge and expertise to work as well as to develop their careers.
