PSNews - The Inspectorate of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) held a conference, on December 27, 2022, in Hanoi, to review its task performance in 2022 and launch its work plan for 2023.

Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To attended the conference, which was chaired by Chief Inspector of the Ministry of Public Security Lieutenant General Tran Duc Tuan.

In 2022, the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Public Security effectively implemented inspection plans, detected and proposed competent authorities to handle groups and individuals with wrongdoings and fix the defects, contributing to building truly clean and strong People's Public Security Forces and improving the effectiveness and efficiency of state management of security and order.

As the standing body of the Steering Committee for Countering Corruption, Negativity and Wastefulness of the Ministry of Public Security, the Inspectorate proactively advised the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security to issue various documents guiding the work of preventing and controlling corruption and negativity inside the Public Security Forces, and promulgate a set of criteria to evaluate the results of anti-corruption work at public security agencies and units.

Speaking at the Conference, on behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To applauded the achievements that the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Public Security attained in 2022.

Regarding key tasks of the agency in the coming time, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To requested the Inspectorate to effectively carry out its 2023 work plan, closely follow resolutions of the Public Security Central Party Committee and instructions of the Ministry's leadership on the tasks of the entire Public Security Forces in 2023 and directions given by the Prime Minister and the Minister at the 78th National Public Security Conference.
