MPS leader sends letter of condolences to family of dead policeman in Lam Dong

PSNews – Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security on August 8 sent a letter of condolence to the family of Pham Minh Tu, police officer of the Loc Chau Commune Police Post for Tan Thinh Village, Bao Long City, Lam Dong Province. Earlier, officer Pham Minh Tu died while performing his duty.

The letter stated that, on August 8, officer Pham Minh Tu bravery sacrificed his life while rescuing people stuck in flood.

On behalf of the Central Party Committee of Public Security and leaders of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS), Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son sent deep condolences to the family of Pham Minh Tu and praised officer Tu for his good service, saying that officer Tu demonstrated the qualities of the typical police officer who is ready to sacrifice himself for happiness and a peaceful life of the people.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son asked the Department for the Movement “All people protecting national security” in coordination with the Department of Personnel and Organization, and the Lam Dong Provincial Police Department to visit, encourage and support Tu’s family, hold Tu’s funeral.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Minister also asked the Lam Dong Provincial Police Department to deploy sufficient forces and means to key areas and take appropriate measures to ensure absolute safety for the people living in flooded areas, and maintain public order and security in the province.
