This is a meaningful program to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Founding Day of the Mobile Police Force (April 15, 1974).

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Lieutenant General Nguyen Ngoc Toan stated, thoroughly grasping the Party's guiding view on the position and special role of literature and art in the construction and development of Vietnamese culture and people to meet the requirements of sustainable development of the country in general and for the building of the People's Police Force in particular, the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security have paid great attention to creative activities of literary and artistic works reflecting the missions and achievements of the People's Public Security Forces by launching music, literary and artistic performance and composition contests, in recent years.

Such contests drew the participation of a large number of professional and amateur authors inside and outside the People's Public Security Forces, and created numerous musical, literary and artistic works depicting a beautiful image of the public security officer, including the mobilie police officer, who works around the clock to protect a peaceful life for the people.

Furthermore, songs, novels, stories, photos, films and paintings also reflect the real activities and feats of arms of police officers in the fight against crime.

They all have contributed largely to national literature, arts and music.

At the opening ceremony, the Organizing Committee presented flowers to the Jury Council and the authors participating in the composition camp.
