MPS provides medical supplies for agencies and units to fight COVID-19

PSNews – On May 19, the Health Department under the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) revealed that it has provided necessary medical supplies for local police units to fight COVID-19 pandemic with a total cost of nearly 23 billion VND.

Accordingly, the Health Department has allocated medical supplies for the provincial-level police department of all the 63 provinces and cities nationwide, the 11 public security schools, as well as 60 prisons, compulsory re-education centers and reformatories, 48 departments and institutes under the MPS, and 4 first-class public security hospitals.

In particular, the medical supplies included 476,000 cloth facemasks, 255,100 medical facemasks, 1,644,000 aseptic medical facemasks, 10,470 N95 facemasks, 31,000 gloves, 10,900 protective clothing, 4,950 liters of hand sanitizer, and 9,342 kilos of Chloramin B as well as 1,483 thermometers, 43 disinfectant sprayers, 69 disinfectant machines, and 780 liters of Map CPA 500EC.

The necessary medical supplies allocated to the two COVID-19 pandemic-hit provinces of BacNinh and BacGiang cost 236 million VND and 652 million VND respectively.
