MPS’s Youth Union runs voluntary activities in Ha Giang

PSNews – Hundreds of gift packs have been delivered to ethnic people, needy households and needy police officers and soldiers in Dong Van District, Ha Giang Province during a charitable trip of the youth members of the Ministry of Pbulic Security (MPS).

The MPS’s Youth Union on May 9 in collaboration with the Youth Union Chapters of the Inspection Commission under the Public Security Central Party Committee, the Public Security Traditional Medicine Hospital, the People’s Security Academy, the Fire Prevention and Fighting University and the Ha Giang Provincial Police Department visited and presented gifts to needy police officers in Dong Van District, Ha Giang Province.

At the Dong Van District Police Station, the delegation presented 20 million VND and 200 anti-droplet face shields to officers directly involved in the fight against the COVID-19 epidemic.

The delegation also presented gifts to needy students studying at the Ha Giang Provincial Ethnic Minority Boarding High School; handed over 5,000 medical facemasks, 150 anti-droplet face shields, 10 cartons of soap, 20 liters of hand sanitizer, and one carton of Chloramines B powder to the school.

During the program, the delegation also lit incense at the Monument of Former Voluntary Youths, who sacrificed their lives while building the Road of Happiness - one of the most dangerous and majestic road in Vietnam - Ma Pi Leng Pass.
