According to the summary report, the Office of the Ministry of Public Security has closely followed the work program of the ministry and successfully fulfilled its assignments in 2022.

The office actively advised leaders of the Ministry of Public Security to lead all public security agencies and units to perform their tasks of safeguarding national security, maintaining social order and safety, and handling emerging security and order issues, contributing to maintaining political stability and promoting the country's socio-economic development and foreign affairs.

Notably, the Office of the Ministry of Public Security recommended the Public Security Central Party Committee to advise the Government to promulgate a resolution on an action plan to implement Resolution 12 of the Politburo on building really clean, strong, regular, elite and modern Public Security Forces to meet the task requirements in the new situation, and launch Project No. 06 "Enhancing the application of population, electronic identification and authentication data in national digital transformation in the period of 2022 - 2025, with a vision to 2030".

Under the authority of the State President, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To awards the Third Class “Fatherland Protection” Medal to Section 4 of the Office of the Ministry of Public Security for its outstanding achievements.

It also assisted the Public Security Central Party Committee in maintaining the working regulations of reporting to the Politburo and the Secretariat while regularly guiding public security agencies and units to perform their tasks, as well as checking and evaluating their task performances.

The office successfully acted as the spokesman of the Ministry of Public Security, frequently providing information for the press and public, as well as supervised the websites of all public security agencies and unit.

For its achievements in 2022, the Office of the Ministry of Public Security was awarded the "Excellent unit in emulation movement” flag by the Government.

Speaking at the conference, on behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To hailed the achievements that the Office of the Ministry of Public Security has achieved in 2022.

Regarding its key tasks in 2023, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To emphasized that the Office of the Ministry of Public Security should be a think-tank of the Ministry of Public Security, giving right and timely advice to the leadership of the ministry.

Emphasizing the importance of building e-Government, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To asked the Ministry's Office to conduct in-depth research to advise the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security to concretize the directions of the Party Central Committee and the Government in the coming time for the Public Security Forces to effectively implement them.

Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To also suggested that the Ministry's Office further strengthen its leadership and renovate methods of analyzing information and evaluating documents to create a big positive change in its task performance.
