Over 1,200 Can Tho high school students join dissemination program on anti- crimes and social evils

PSNews - The Steering Committee for Inter-Sector Resolutions 01 & 03/TW on May 7 in collaboration with the Can Tho Provincial Women's Union, Can Tho Provincial Police, Can Tho Department of Education and Training and Can Tho Municipal Youth Union held a meeting to popularize information about prevention and fight against crimes and social evils to over 1,200 students at Bui Huu Nghia high school, Binh Thuy District, Can Tho City.

The program saw the presence of Major General Nhu Thi Minh Nguyet, Chief of the Police Political Department.

Within the program, students of Bui Huu Nghia high school watched 4 educational play-lets on prevention and fighting human trafficking, drug-related crimes, child sexual abuse and cybercrime.

Besides, the students also participated in the Q&A sections on drug prevention and received leaflets on the harms of drugs.

This is an annual activity of the Steering Committee for Inter-Sector Resolutions 01 & 03/TW with the aim of providing high school students with knowledge and practical skills to prevent crimes and social evils, as well as conveying many humanitarian messages to young people.

Speaking at the program, Major General Nhu Thi Minh Nguyet urged students to stay away from crimes and social evils, while joining hands with the community to wipe out crimes and social evils, and built a healthy and humane society.
