People's Police Academy signs new MoU with Royal Thai Police Academy

Under the authority of leaders of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam and the Royal Thai Police, the People's Police Academy of Vietnam (PPA) and the Royal Thai Police Academy (TPA) signed a new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation at a webinar on August 2.

In 2008, the PPA and the TPA signed a MoU on friendship, cooperation and assistance in police training. Since then, the two academies have implemented practical and effective cooperation activities such as student exchange at undergraduate and graduate levels, as well as cooperation on holding refresher courses and language training courses for officers of both sides.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the two academies signed the deal at a video-meeting on August 2.

Thanks to the MoU, the two academies have achieved positive outcomes of cooperation over the past time.

In order to boost their bilateral cooperation in line with the thriving relations between the two countries and the current context of international relations, the two academies agreed to sign a new MoU with appropriate cooperation contents.
