People’s Police College 1 celebrates 55th anniversary and receives noble order

PSNews – The People’s Police College 1 (PPC1) organized a ceremony on December 31to celebrate its 55th Traditional Day and received the third-class “Fatherland Protection” Order. 
Major General Nguyen Duy Ngoc, Deputy Minister of Public Security attended the event.

The People’s Police School, the forerunner of the PPC1, was officially established on December 30, 1965.

Since its inception, the PPC1 has opened 14 full-time college-level courses and 60 intermediate-level courses with more than 20,000 students, providing significant human resources for local-level police units.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc appreciated the large achievements of the college in the last 55 years.

He asked the college to closely follow the requirements of tasks of the police forces in the new situation and renovate its training programs suitable for the practical work of police units.

The school should also strengthen solidarity among officers, teachers and students, overcome challenges and develop the PPC1 as a prestigious and high-quality vocational training institution in the public security forces.

At the event, under the authority of the Party and the State, Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc awarded the third-class “Fatherland Protection” Order to the PPC1.
