People's Security Academy holds meaningful activities in Phu Tho

PSNews - A working delegation of the People's Security Academy (PSA) led by Senior Colonel Le Van Thang, Director of the Academy on June 16 visited and presented gifts to people in Khai Xuan Commune, Thanh Ba District, Phu Tho Province.

During the trip, the delegation paid tribute and  offered flowery wreaths to martyrs at the Khai Xuan Commune' Cemetery, visited and presented gifts to local beneficiary families; and granted a water purifier system to the Khai Xuan commune's kindergarten.

Same day, there was also an culture exchange night themed "The sentiments between the Public Security Forces and the people" organized in Khai Xuan Commune with the participation of young police officers of the Hanoi Municipal Police and the Phu Tho Provincial Police, youths of local Youth Union organizations and the PSA.

The culture exchange program, with performances conveying meaningful messages about the love for the homeland and praising the Party and beloved Uncle Ho as well as the victories of the Public Security Forces, received big support from local people.

Such an activity contributed to strengthening the solidarity and the close bonds between the PSA and the people of Khai Xuan Commune.

At the program, on behalf of the working delegation, Senior Colonel Le Van Thang and a representative of the BIDV Thanh Xuan branch presented 50 bicycles and 20 packs of gifts to needy local students with excellent academic results; handed 20 packs of gifts to local beneficiary families. The delegation also presented 9 computer sets to the Thanh Ba District Police, the People's Committee of Khai Xuan Commune, the health station, the primary and secondary schools of Khai Xuan commune.

The academy’s annual field trip means much to its students. The trip also helps them practice and improve their skills in communicating with people and handling daily life issues.
