Police agencies agree to coordinate in promoting “All people protecting national security” movement

PSNews – The Department for "All people protecting national security" Movement and the Department of Economic Security under the Ministry of Public Security on May 13 held a ceremony to sign regulations of coordination on strengthening the building of the “All people protecting national security” movement.

The event saw the presence of Senior Lieutenant General Bui Van Nam, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security.

Lieutenant General Tran Thi Ngoc Dep, Director of the Department for "All people protecting national security" Movement and Lieutenant General Duong Minh Hung, Director of the Department of Economic Security co-chaired the event.

Speaking at the event, Lieutenant General Tran Thi Ngoc Dep stressed the meaning and importance of signing the coordination regulations, pointing out that the regulations show the responsibility of the two agencies for strengthening the building of the “All people protecting national security” movement, contributing to ensuring security and order in the economic police force.

At the ceremony, on behalf of the Central Party Committee of Public Security and leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam recognized and praised the efforts of the two agencies in advising senior leaders on the construction, organization and implementation of the coordination regulations.

Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam also asked the Department for "All people protecting national security" Movement and the Department of Economic Security to well carry out the task of advising the Central Party Committee of Public Security and leaders of the Ministry of Public Security to protect economic security and in organizing the “All people protecting national security” movement within the working framework of the Department of Economic Security.

The Deputy Minister also stressed that, after signing the regulations, the two agencies should implement the agreed coordination contents from the ministerial level to grassroots level in order to enhance the movement in the economic police force; at the same time, actively coordinating with other branches, agencies, organizations and businesses to regularly organize dissemination drives so as to create consensus among people and economic components.
