Police Departments of Hanoi and Ha Nam sign coordination agreement

The Hanoi Municipal Police Department and Ha Nam Provincial Police Department on October 21 signed a coordination regulation in prevention and fight against crimes, particularly drug-related crime and social evils in the areas along the boundary of Hanoi and Ha Nam.

The event saw the presence of Senior Colonel Vu Van Hau, Vice Director of the Counter-Narcotics Police Department under the Ministry of Public Security, Senior Colonel Tran Minh Tien, Vice Director of the Ha Nam Provincial Police Department and Senior Colonel Nguyen Thanh Tung, Vice Director of the Hanoi Municipal Police Department.

Colonel Nguyen Quang Hien, Vice Head of the Counter-Narcotics Office under the Hanoi Municipal Police Department, briefed participants of the event on the situations of drug-related crime in the areas along the boundary of Hanoi and Ha Nam.

Speaking at the event, Senior Colonel Vu Van Hau asked the police forces in the adjacent districts and communes to  draw up action plans to effectively implement the signed regulations.

The Counter-Narcotics Police Offices of the Hanoi and Ha Nam police were assigned to promote information dissemination on the harms of illegal drugs and strengthen professional measures to support the police forces of adjacent localities in the fight against crimes and social evils.

The two leaders of the Hanoi and Ha Nam police also affirmed that they will direct their sub-units to strictly follow the signed coordination regulations, and further coordinate in the fight against crimes, particularly drug-related crime, contributing to ensuring security and order in the adjacent areas of Hanoi and Ha Nam.
