Police in Quang Ninh planning to ensure order and security during National Sport Games 2022

PSNews – In order to ensure security and safety for the 9th National Sports Games, the Quang Ninh Provincial Police Department has actively planned measures, forces and means to ensure order, security and safety and respond to possible unexpected scenarios during the event.

The opening and closing ceremony of the 9th National Sport Games will take place from 9 December  to 21 in 11 different localities, including Quang Ninh. 21 out of the 43 sport events will take place in Ha Long City, Cam Pha City and Dong Trieu Town of Quang Ninh Province.

The province also expected to welcome 65 delegations from 63 provinces and cities along with the public security delegation and the military delegation as well as 8,000 officials, coaches, athletes and 1,600 referees.

The local traffic police divisions have launched a campaign against crime and traffic offences on the road.

Prior to the event, the local police units conducted a general fire and rescue inspection at venues.

According to Head of the Fire Police Squad in Cam Pha Senior Colonel La Quy Tuyen, on the days of football matches at Cam Pha Stadium, local police officers will carry out daily fire and rescue checks mobilize police officers to ensure security and safety at stadium.

In order to ensure traffic order and safety, the local traffic police divisions have launched a campaign against crime and traffic offences on the road.

According to Head of the Traffic Police Squad of Cam Pha Municipal Police Department Lieutenant Colonel Vu Dinh Son, the 9th National Sports Games is a big event with a large number of people and vehicles so the unit will maximize its force to control traffic on the gateways to the city.

 Police forces in Quang Ninh are now doing their best to ensure security and safety for visitors, delegates and athletes during the games, contributing to the success of the 9th National Sports Games, and promoting the image of the province as a safe tourist destination.
