PSNews – Many valuable opinions were given on the sidelines of the conference assessing results of the Public Security Forces’ implementation of tasks in the first 6 months of 2023 that took place on June 26 in Da Nang.

* Lieutenant General Nguyen Minh Chinh, Director of the Department of Cyber ​​Security and Hi-tech Crime Prevention proposed 6 key solutions, including precisely forecasting the situation in cyberspace and detecting and addressing complicated cases of security and order early and from afar; strictly handling cases of spreading fake news, malicious news and dangerous cyber criminal groups.

The Department will also resolutely fight new, large-scale and complex cybersecurity criminal groups, carrying out projects in accordance with Resolution No.12 of the Politburo.

* According to Major General Nguyen Van Vien, Director of the Counter-Narcotics Police Department, the leadership of the department will closely direct the local police forces to tightly manage drug addicts. Besides, the department also strengthen the fight against crimes related to illicit drug trafficking and drug abuse nationwide, eliminate  illicit drug abuse and trading hot-spot of drugs and illicit drug gatherings in border areas.

The department will also further promote the coordination between the counter-narcotic police force and the border guard force, coast guard force in border areas in exchanging information and preventing illicit drug sources from foreign countries to Vietnam, while improving the efficiency of international cooperation and cooperation with the neighboring countries of Laos, Cambodia and China as well as regional countries such as the United States, Australia, South Korea, and Thailand in the fight against illicit drug trafficking and drug-related crimes.

* Major General Vu Xuan Vien, Director of the Da Nang Municipal Police Department said, since the beginning of 2023, a number of important events and festivals have been held in Da Nang with the participation of tens of thousands of visitors. The local police have made great effort to ensure absolute security and safety for the events.

For the great achievements in fighting street crimes, the Da Nang City Police Department has beeen praised by the Ministry of Public Security. The local police also have discovered drug trafficking cases, arresting many drug dealers and dismantling many drug trafficking groups.

In the coming time, the local police will continue to implement synchronous methods to prevent and effectively fight  various types of crime, ensuring the peaceful life of the people.
