Police units review implementation of coordination regulations

PSNews – The Hanoi Municipal Police Department and People’s Police College 1 on May 28 held a conference in Hanoi to review the 2-year implementation of the regulations of coordination between the 2 units.

The general report stated that, in the past 2 years, the 2 units have coordinated closely in training personnel and ensuring security and order in Hanoi. The Party Committee and the Directorate of the Hanoi Municipal Police, and the Party Committee and Directorate of the People’s Police College 1 have regularly directed their subordinated units to expand coordination with each other according to the regulations and agreed programs.

As a result, the coordination has also achieved fruitful results. In particular, no serious criminal case has occurred and no hotspot of crimes and social evils has been formed over the past 2 years in the areas around the People’s Police College 1.

Speaking at the conference, Lieutenant General Doan Duy Khuong, Director of the Hanoi Municipal Police Department affirmed that the implementation of the regulations of coordination between the 2 units have contributed to raising solidarity and close relationship between the two sides while police officers and soldiers of the Hanoi Police Department have had more chance to improve their knowledge and professional skills at the school.

In return, the coordination has also created favorable conditions for officials, teachers and students of the People’s Police College 1 to gain more practical experiences of ensuring social order and safety in locality from their practicum periods.

Lieutenant General Doan Duy Khuong also suggested that in the coming time, all police units under the Hanoi Police Department and the subordinated units of the People’s Police College 1 should review their coordination and thoroughly overcome their limitations in order to improve the efficiency and quality of training police officers and students at school as well as of ensuring security and order in the capital.

On this occasion, 20 outstanding organizations and 19 individuals were awarded Certificates of Merit for their achievements in implementing the regulations of coordination between the Hanoi Municipal Police Department and the People’s Police College 1 in the past two years.
