PPA’s students shines at Informatics Olympiad for student

PSNews – The students team from the People’s Police Academy (PPA) has won high prizes at the Informatics Olympiad for Students 2019 and the 2019 International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) Asia Da Nang 2019.

All 6 members of the PPA’s team have won prizes at the contest, including one first prize, one second prize and four third prizes.

The 28th Vietnam Student’s Informatics Olympiad and the ICPC Asia Da Nang 2019 gathered top young IT talents from universities and colleges across Vietnam and other countries in Asia.

It is an intellectual playground for students who are keen on IT. It also provides opportunity for them to show their IT competence, and exchange knowledge and experience with their peers.

This year’s Olympiad was held at the Da Nang University of Science and Technology, attracting 700 contestants and 150 coaches from 71 universities and colleges nationwide.

Meanwhile, the ICPC Asia Da Nang 2019 drew the participation of 17 international teams from Japan, Republic of Korea, Indonesia, Singapore, China and Myanmar, among 112 participating teams.

The ICPC Asia Da Nang 2019 will select outstanding teams to participate at the ICPC World Final, which will be held in Moscow, Russia in June 2020.
