Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh awards prestigious titles to MPS collective and individuals

PSNews - On the occassion of the 81st national-level conference of the Public Security Forces, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on behalf of the Party and State leadership on December 15 presented the title of “Hero of the People’s Armed Forces” on a public security unit and noble oders to leaders and former leaders of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS).

The State President recently signed a decision awarding the title of “Hero of the People’s Armed Forces” to the Technique Division under the Department of External Security for its exceptionally outstanding achievements in safeguarding political security and maintaining social order and safety from 2014 to 2024, thereby contributing to the cause of national development and defense.

The State President also signed decisions to confer State medal on leaders and and former leaders of the MPS in recognition of their feats of arms and outstanding accomplishments in combat, support-combat operations, force building, and protection of the fatherland.

At the conference, on behalf of the Party and State leadership, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh awarded the First-Class Military Exploit Order to Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Pham The Tung; the Second-Class Military Exploit Order to Senior Lieutenant General To An Xo, Assistant to the General Secretary and in charge of the Office of the General Secretary; and the Third-Class Military Exploit Order to Secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee Vu Hong Van, (former Director of the Department of Internal Political Security); the First-Class Fatherland Protection Order to Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Long and Deputy Minister of Public Security Lieutenant General Dang Hong Duc; and the First-Class Feat of Arms Order to Major General Tran Dang Quynh, Assistant to the General Secretary.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh also presented the Second-Class Military Exploit Order to Lieutenant General Nguyen Minh Chinh, former Director of the Department of Cybersecurity and High-Tech Crime Prevention and Control, and Lieutenant General Hoang Ha, Director of Intelligence Department for the Americas, Europe and Africa.

The First-Class Feat of Arms Order was awarded to Major General Le Xuan Minh, Director of the Department of Cybersecurity and High-Tech Crime Prevention and Control; Major General Tran Minh Tien, Chief of the MPS Criminal Investigation Office; Major General Nguyen Quang Phuong, Director of the Department for Investigation of Corruption, Economic Crimes and Smuggling; Lieutenant General Hoang Van Ha, Director of the Department of Security Investigation; Major General Pham Kim Dinh, Director of the Department of Political Affairs; Major General Bui Quang Thanh, MPS Chief Inspector; Major General Trinh Ngoc Quyen, Director of the People’s Security Academy; Major General Cao Minh Huyen, Director of the Lao Cai Provincial Police Department; Major General To Anh Dung, Director of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police Department; and Major General Tran Xuan Anh, Director of the Hung Yen Provincial Police Department.
