Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Member of Central Party Committee, chairman of the Vietnam Women's Union; Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, Member of Central Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security co-chaired the session.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh confirmed the achievements and contributions of the Ministry of Public Security Women’s Union, to be an outstanding unit in the movement of women across the country which has been recognized and appreciated by the Vietnam Women's Union Central Committee.

In the near future, the Ministry of Public Security will continue to direct the operation and activities of Women’s Union which attached to gender equality and the advancement of women whom working in public security forces.
Besides, further propaganda, education and training programs will be promoted base on the requirements "Confidence, Self-respect, faithfulness, resourcefulness" for women in the public security forces.
At the end of the meeting, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha confirmed that in recent years, the coordination between the Vietnam Women's Union and the Women's Union of Ministry of Public Security has brought positive results.
Through the meeting, delegates has had the overview on the work of Women Union in Public Security forces, also they had chance to discussed and exchanged ideas about women’s union activities.
