PSF actively responds to the competition on Vietnam-Laos relations history

PSNews - In response to the contest "Understanding the history of special relations between Vietnam and Laos"  launched by the Party Central Committee’s Information and Education Commission, the Ministry of Public Security has deployed this contest in the whole force. 

The contest "Understanding the history of special relations between Vietnam and Laos" aims to popularize and educate the special friendship between Vietnam and Laos; Laos and Vietnam during fighting against common enemy for national liberation and building the countries for Vietnamese and Lao youths.

 The contest is also seen as a meaningful activity to observe the "Vietnam - Laos Friendship and Solidarity Year 2017", the 55th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-Laos diplomatic ties (September 5, 1962-2017) and the 40th anniversary of the signing of the Vietnam-Laos Treaty of Amity and Cooperation. The contest contributes to tightening the bilateral ties and defeating attempts of reactionaries to distort the history of the Vietnam-Laos special solidarity and friendship.

In response to the mobilization initiated by the Ministry of Public Security, 100% police units from the Central level to local have implemented the contest in various forms and contents in accordance to their working conditions and practical situation.

Under the plan of the General Department of Politics of Public Security, all officers and soldiers of the Public Security Newspaper (CAND Newspaper) have actively participated in the contest.

As of July 30, the organizers have received nearly 200 entries.

The organizing board said multiple-choice questions are available on the website: http://dangcongsan.vn, while questions for writing is provided by the Information and Education Magazine.

The contest of multiple-choice questions is conducted every week, beginning from May 2 through December 22. Meanwhile, the writing contest will run till October 31.

Overseas Vietnamese and Lao people as well as foreigners are encouraged to join the contest.
