PSNews - The Public Security Central Party Committee and the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee co-organized a scientific conference on “Party committees of public security units and agencies at all levels leading the work of ensuring security and order in support of socio-economic development in the Northern midlands and mountains in line with Resolution No. 11-NQ/TW issued on February 10, 2022 by the 13th Politburo”.

Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Public Security Central Party Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To Assoc. Prof., Dr., and Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial People’s Committee Trinh Viet Hung co-chaired the conference.

The scientific conference aimed to clarify new perceptions and thoughts in Resolution No. 11 and the Public Security Forces’ work in support of socio-economic development as well as provide scientific arguments for Party committees of police units and agencies at all levels in the provinces in the Northern midlands and mountains to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of their leadership in ensuring security and order in line with Resolution No. 11 and actively advise local civilian Party committees and authorities to direct the implementation of this work.

The conference received more than 160 scientific reports from senior officials and scientists, clarifying the theoretical basis and content of major policies and orientations of the Party and State for socio-economic development associated with ensuring security and order in the Northern midlands and mountains.

Meanwhile, several reports focused on evaluating work results of the police forces in ensuring security and order in support of socio-economic development in the Northern midlands and mountains, pointed out remaining shortcomings and limitations and their causes, especially subjective causes, and draw experiences and practical lessons.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To sincerely thanked all leaders, delegates and scientists for their valuable contributions to the scientific conference.

Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To requested Party committees of public security units and agencies at all levels to grasp the viewpoints and directions of the Party, the State, the Public Security Central Party Committee on firmly ensuring security and order in the Northern midlands and mountains to facilitate local socio-economic development until 2030 and a vision to 2045.

Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To also stressed the need to further promote political and ideological education so as to make all local police officers and enlistees aware of the importance of building the people's security posture associated with the national defense posture and people's hearts posture to the task of ensuring security and order in support of socio-economic development nationwide in general and in the Northern midlands and mountains in particular.
