PSF Youth Union Executive Committee launches 2023 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign

PSNews -  The Public Security Forces’ (PSF) Youth Executive Committee on June 2 launched the 2023 Summer Youth Voluteer Campaign, which mobilizes Youth Union members working in the Public Security Forces to participate in summber volunteer activities.

This year’s campaign, takes place from June 1 to August 31, provides a great opportunity for youths, including young officers and civilian workers at all public security agencies and units, to join youth-making projects and youth volunteer programs.

Such youth projects and programs show their responsibity toward the community.

The 90-day summer youth volunteer campaign focuses on 5 contents, including the “Tiếp sức mùa thi” (Assisting Candidates during Exam Season) program, the “Tình nguyện tại cơ quan, đơn vị” (Volunteer activities in their units) campaign, the “Hành quân xanh” (Green March) campaign, the “Mùa hè xanh” (Green Summer) campaign, and the “Kỳ nghỉ hồng” (Pink Holiday) campaign.

The Public Security Forces’ Youth Union Executive Committee awards 20 scholarships.

At the launching ceremony, the Public Security Forces’ Youth Union Executive Committee gave funds to the Son La Provincial Youth Union Executive Committee to build a school branch and offered financial support to some other localities.

The Public Security Forces’ Youth Union Executive Committee also awarded 20 scholarships to needy students. The total cash and gifts are worth of 800 million VND.

This is part of the meaningful activites the youth of the Public Security Forces carry out to celebrate the 75th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's call for patriotic emulation, the 78th founding anniversary of the People’s Public Secuerity Forces, and the 18th anniversary of the launch of the “All people protecting national security” festival.
