Pubic Security Women’s Union reviews task performance in H1

PSNews – The Standing Committee of the Women’s Union of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) on July 23 held a conference to review its operation and women’s movement in the first 6 months of 2019.

Major General Nguyen Duc Minh, Deputy Director of the Department of Party and Political Work attended the event.

The general report delivered at the conference shows that, in the first 6 months of 2019, the Women’s Union chapters at all levels of the Public Security  Forces (PSF) have well implemented the given working tasks.

The information and education work of the Women’s Union was conducted under the direction of the Party Committees at all levels and in various forms, attracting the participation of many members.

In addition, Women’s Union chapters of the PSF also paid special attention to charitable and gratitude activities. Various women delegations visited and offered free health check-ups and medicines for people in disadvantaged areas; visited and supported families of war invalids and martyrs; and took care of Vietnamese heroic mothers. 

All social programs conducted by the public security Women’s Union chapters cost billions of VND.

At the conference, delegates discussed and pointed out strengths and weaknesses of the MPS Women’s Union chapter in implementing its tasks, and proposed solutions to improve the quality of its operation and women's movements across the PSF in the coming time.

Speaking at the event, Major General Nguyen Duc Minhpraised the achievements of the Women’s Union chapters at all levels of the Public Security  Forces in the first six months of 2019.

Regarding the future work, Major General Nguyen Duc Minh asked leaders of the Women's Union chapters at all levels to strengthen their organization and membership management, and enhance personnel training contributing to building a clean and strong Women’s Union chapter.

Women’s Union chapters of the PFS should also promote activities and movements launched by Emulation Groupings based on each member’s ability while further renewing contents of movements and working methods. They should also actively advise Party Committees at all levels and Public Security leaders on affairs of women, gender equality, family and children.
