The event saw the presence of Politburo Member and Minister of Public Security General To Lam, Member of the Party Central Committee and State Auditor General Tran Sy Thanh, and Deputy Ministers of Public Security, namely Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, Lieutenant General Nguyen Duy Ngoc, and Major General Le Tan Toi. The ceremony was also attended by Senior Lieutenant General Bui Van Nam, former Deputy Minister of Public Security, among leaders from various under-ministerial units.

In his remarks at the ceremony, Major General Bui Thien Dung, Director of the Department of Equipment and Warehousing under the Ministry of Public Security reviewed the 75-year history of the public security equipment and warehousing sector, affirming that the sector has always served as a solid home-front for the Public Security Forces to complete their assigned tasks.

Over the past time, under the sound leadership of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security, and thanks to the effective cooperation of agencies and units at all levels inside and outside the Public Security Forces, the public security equipment and warehousing sector has developed itself from a "passive logistics supplier" to an "active logistics planning and supplying force,” which proactively crafts plans to prepare and provide adequate logistics for public security agencies and units to implement their missions.
Addressing the celebration, on behalf of the Ministry of Public Security’s leadership, Minister To Lam praised all leaders, officers, and soldiers of the sector in general and the department in particular for their achievements over the past years.

The Minister asked that the Department of Equipment and Warehousing should uphold the spirit of self-reliance, resourcefulness, proactiveness, creativity and thrift in using the State budget to procure equipment and provide logistics for public security agencies and units.
He also requested local police forces to effectively use assistance and financial support from local authorities to strengthen their logistical and financial capacities, contributing to the building of modernized Public Security Forces.
At the event, under the authority of the State President, Minister To Lam awarded the First-class Military Exploit Order to the Department of Equipment and Warehousing and the Third-class Fatherland Protection Order to Major General Bui Thien Dung, Director of the Department of Equipment and Warehousing.
