Public Security healthcare sector reviews task performance in 2018

PSNews - The Ministry of Public Security (MPS) in January held a conference to review the task performances of the public security healthcare sector in 2018. Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security, Head of the Health Protection Committee of the MPS chaired the event. 

In recent years, all public security healthcare units and hospitals have continuously strengthened the state management of healthcare in the Public Security Forces, effectively concretized directions and policies of the Party, the State and the MPS related to health services, as well as professional instructions of the Ministry of Health.

At the conference, many delegates gave constructive opinions to improve the quality and efficiency of the public security healthcare sector in general and operation of public security hospitals under the MPS in particular, in the coming time. 

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son applauded the achievements and contributions of the healthcare sector of the Public Security Forces in general and the hospitals under the MPS to the cause of ensuring security and order and caring for health of all police officers, soldiers and workers of the MPS.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son urged the healthcare sector of the Public Security Forces to thoroughly grasp the directions of the Party and the State on healthcare, especially healthcare of police officers and soldiers within the forces, in the coming time.

All health units and hospitals should strengthen Party building, and political, ideological and ethical education for their doctors, nurses and specialists while developing strong human resources, especially high-quality human resources, for the public security health sector.

 Public Security hospitals should also improve the quality of their health services and staff's working attitude, and promote cooperation with  leading domestic and foreign medical units to successfully apply advanced  science and technology to their medical examination and treatment.
