Public Security News helps people in flood-stricken areas

HANOI - Public Security News donated VND56 million to help flood victims in the Central provinces.

The Party Committee of Editorial Board of Public Security News launched fundraising on October 19th morning in an attempt to support people in flood-stricken areas such as Ha Tinh and Quang Binh.

Major General, Editor in Chief of Public Security News, Dr. Pham Van Mien chaired the online donation ceremony in both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh city.

On behalf of the Editorial Board, Major General Pham Van Mien urged all of officers and soldiers, editors, reporters and staff to donate money at least equivalent to their one-day salary based on slogan "The leaves protect tattered ones", helping flood victims to cope with damages and restore production as soon as flood water fell.
