Public Security Youth Union reviews task performance in the first half of 2018

PSNews - The Youth Union Organization of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) recently held the 3rd extended Executive Committee Conference to review its task performance and youth movements in the first 6 months of 2018.

In the first half of the year, the Youth Union work and youth movement of the MPS continued to be maintained and developed steadily. Many political activities were organized on a large scale and spread widely in society.

Besides, the position and reputation of the Youth Union of the Public Security Forces have been recognized while Youth Union members in the Public Security Forces  were also provided favorable conditions to promote their pioneering spirit and creativity as well as to participate in voluntary activities, which in return has contributed positively to the accomplishment of assigned tasks, as well as Party and force building of each unit.

At the conference, the delegates discussed on programs and projects to be implemented in the 2017-2022 term, including the "Youths of the Public Security Forces studying and improving professional skills, fitness and cultural life" program and the project "Youths of the Public Security Forces supporting needy children to go to school in period 2018-2022."

The contents of all discussed programs and projects are closely in line with the Resolution of the Central Party Committee of Public Security, as well as the Resolutions of the 11th National Youth Union Congress and the 21st Congress of the Public Security Youth Union.

Theses contents are expected to create new breakthroughs in Youth Union work and youth movements of the Public Security Forces.

On this occasion, the Youth Union Committee of the Public Security Forces also awarded 9 organizations with outstanding achievements in organizing and participating in the journey "From Dong Loc to Truong Bon" on the occasion of the 71st War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27, 1947-2018).
