Rare documentary about President Ho Chi Minh to be broadcast

PSNews – More precious documentaries about late President Ho Chi Minh will be made public, announced the State Records Management and Archives Department and Vietnam Television on May 15 on VTV 1 channel.

According to the State Records Management and Archives Department, it has just bought the copyright of the documentary about President Ho Chi Minh, which was produced and broadcast in 1973 in France by French director Gérard Guillaume.

Accordingly, Vietnam Television will show it on the occasion of the 129th birth anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh and mark the 50th anniversary of the implementation of his will.

This is part of a project approved by the Prime Minister to collect rare and precious archives and documents of Vietnam and about Vietnam.

Titled "Ho Chi Minh: Sketching portrait of a politician" (Ho Chi Minh: esquisse pour un portrait politique), the 58-minute documentary was copyrighted by Ciné- Archives (Movie Library of the French Communist Party). This is a precious and informative documentary with many images to be published in Vietnam for the first time.

The documentary reflects the revolutionary career of President Ho Chi Minh since his participation in the Tours Congress in 1920 and his journey to fight for national independence of Vietnam. The film uses a lot of materials, archives and interviews with historical figures.

The film ends with the will of President Ho Chi Minh, calling on the Vietnamese people to continue to maintain the revolutionary spirit and the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

The documentary will be broadcast on VTV1 channel at 20.10 pm on May 15.
