Representatives of GDP visit an injured soldier

PSNews - Representatives of the General Department of Politics visited a police officer of the Rescue Department of the University of Fire Fighting & Prevention, who was injured while on duty.

Lieutenant Le Dinh Vinh is a staff of the Rescue Department of the University of Fire Fighting & Prevention (UFFP), and he was injured while fighting fire in a recent incident.

Earlier, at about 14.05pm on November 1, after receiving an order from the Fire Fighting Police Department of Hanoi to fight fire at a karaoke bar in Tran Thai Tong street, Cau Giay ward, Lieutenant Le Dinh Vinh directed a fire fighting and rescue team of cadets at the UFFP. 

While executing his task, Lieutenant Le Dinh Vinh was injured by some shards of glass falling off from the roof above, breaking 3 tendons of his left leg. He was then taken to 198 Hospital.

At the Trauma Department of 198 Hospital, Lieutenant General Nguyen Xuan Muoi inquired after, encouraged and handed VND 10 million (from the Comradeship’s Gratitude Fund) to Lieutenant Le Dinh Vinh.

He also praised the spirit, effort and bravery in serving people and implementing tasks of the Fire Fighting Police Department of Hanoi, the University of Fire Fighting & Prevention and Lieutenant Le Dinh Vinh, contributing to minimizing losses to people in general and victims of the fire in particular.

Deputy Director Nguyen Xuan Muoi deeply thanked doctors of 198 Hospital for caring for and curing of Lieutenant Le Dinh Vinh.
