Senior Lieutenant General Le Quy Vuong receives Military Exploit Order

PSNews - Under the authorization of the State President, General To Lam, Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Public Security Central Committee, Minister of Public Security presented a first-class Military Exploit Order to Senior Lieutenant General Le Quy Vuong, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security.

The Ministry of Public Security (MPS) on June 4 held a ceremony to announce decisions signed by the State President on awarding orders and the tile of Hero of the People’s Armed Forces to public security officers with exceptionally outstanding achievements in maintaining political security, social order and safety, particularly their feats during campaigns to crack down on 2 large drug-related criminal havens in Long Luong Commune, Van Ho District, Son La Province.

General To Lam, Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Public Security Central Party Committee, Minister of Public Security chaired the event. The ceremony also saw the presence of Senior Lieutenant General Le Quy Vuong, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security; Senior Lieutenant General Bui Van Nam, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security; Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security; Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security; and other leaders of agencies and units under the MPS.

 At the ceremony, under the authorization of the State President, General To Lam presented a first-class Military Exploit Order to Senior Lieutenant General Le Quy Vuong; the title of Hero of the People’s Armed Forces to Senior Colonel Tran Anh Tuan, Director of the Son La Provincial Police Department; and a third-class Military Exploit Order to Lieutenant Colonel Mai Hoang, Head of the Moc Chau District Police Station, Son La Province.

Speaking at the ceremony, General To Lam congratulated the awardees, saying that the Party and State always pay attentions to the tasks of ensuring security and order, take due care of police officers and strive to build a professional, elite and modern revolutionary police force.

Minister To Lam also affirmed that, these noble awards are the honor and pride of not only the awardees, but also the whole public security forces.

General To Lam stressed that the awardees are all qualified and experienced officers who have good virtues, firm political stance, thoroughly grasp and resolutely protect the Party's policies and laws of the State, and wholeheartedly serve the people.

They always uphold the sense of responsibility,  set examples for their subordinates, overcome difficulties and challenges and successfully fulfill their assigned tasks.

General To Lam too the chance to ask all public security officers to further strengthen the leadership of the Party over the Public Security Forces, heighten the sense of responsibility of public security leaders at all levels at work, further promote the heroic tradition and glorious achievements of the Public Security Forces, continue to study and follow President Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morals and style as well as the 6 Teachings of Uncle Ho. The Minister of Public Security also requested the Public Security Forces to coordinate closely with the People’s Army as well as other Central agencies, ministries, localities and the people to firmly protect national security, and ensure social order and safety in all situations.
