Tan Lac Police support local residents

PSNews – The police of Tan Lac district, Hoa Binh have carried out various programs to assist and support local residents with difficulties. 

The Tan Lac District Police has performed well its tasks of ensuring security and order in the past years. In addition to its professional police work, the district’s police force has also been active in carrying out charitable and social activities.

Over the past years, the unit has supported and mobilized the community to fund for various public projects benefiting local residents. These included installing street lights in Lo street, Phong Phu commune, donating cows to needy households, presenting hundreds of gifts to policy families, schools and poor students with outstanding academic performance in Lung Van and Quyet Chien communes, kindergartens in Bac Son and Gia Mo communes, and elementary school of PhuCuong commune.

In 2017, the district police force investigated and handled 40 criminal cases and arrested 44 suspects. In terms of drug-related crime, Tan Lac police caught in red hand 11 cases, arrested 16 objects and seized 21 packs of heroin and 7,600 pills of synthetic drugs.

The district police also coordinated with relevant agencies to disseminate the regulations on traffic safety and order among local people, especially students and youngsters.

As a result, the local people have now been more aware of the traffic regulations, and traffic accidents being curbed in all 3 categories: number of accidents, number of the dead and injured.

The Tan Lac police also performed well their State management of social order and safety as well as promoting administrative reforms. The district police force mobilized local people to submit 210 guns of various kinds. Furthermore, they went to remote places and issued over 6,000 ID cards to local people.
